The Locker Talk I Never Had
Daniela JubizWe were told to dream big.
To be kind. To be pretty.
To dress appropriately.
To work hard, be desirable but not too loud.
But no one ever taught us how to build ourselves.
No one opened a locker and whispered,
“This is how you dress with meaning.”
“This is how you sell without selling your soul.”
“This is how you take up space — with strategy and softness.”
The locker talk I never had…
was about power.
Not the kind that dominates.
But the kind that dresses in metaphor,
that crafts a message so precise, it feels like a spell.
That sells ideas, not illusions.
It wasn’t until much later in boardrooms, boutiques, and branding sessions
that I realized how much of fashion, branding, and womanhood
was shaped by everything we weren’t told.
At Digital Sartoria, we build that conversation.
We turn locker talk into symbolic strategy.
We teach brands especially women-led ones
how to dress their message in meaning.
How to own their myth.
How to sell with story, soul and system.
You don’t need permission to start telling your truth.
But you might need a symbolic wardrobe for your brand to wear it.
This is the locker talk we wish we had.
